MAY 9th - Didn't think we would sail today with the rain, but we did with a handful. Fishing was a little tougher than it has been with the weather today, but we were rewarded with a 9.6 Pound Fluke on board! Tuesday's anglers had a boat limit of Fluke, so yes, Fluking has been good!
We are privately booked Sat May 18th, Sat Jun 1st & Mon Jun 24th

JANUARY 28th - On board the Miss Montauk - Finally a break in the weather and Wow what a day! First drop started with lock and load Cod fishing. Then tide dropped out and bite slowed to all shorts. Went looking around for a little while but wound up where we started, and wound up ending the day with a fantastic bite! With everyone going home with at least 10 - 15 keepers. With a few Pollock, Sea Bass, and Ling mixed in. There were just as many shorts as keepers to keep the action hot.
JANUARY 12th - Miss Montauk thanking God for Cod again! With the weather man being way way off on the forecast we still found some great Cod fishing! Had to try a different spot but still banged a good day with 5-10 Cod a man & a few Pollock onboard. Today's pool Cod was 21 Pounds. Most of the Cod were 8 - 12 lbs.
JANUARY 11th - Another good day of Cod fishing on the Miss Montauk. Not as good as its been but still a very good day, with half the boat having 3-5 keeper Cod and the other half having 7-10. A bunch of Ling & some nice Sea Bass. All in all a very good day. Pool Cod was caught by Tom, weighing in at 25 Pounds!
We had an issue today with a few more heads then were supposed to have onboard. For that I apologize to those there today. Please remember to make a reservation. or risk being turned away. However we are going to change our 25 man limit to: 35 on weekends and 25 during the week. So if you want more room come during the week. We just find that too many get upset when they can’t sail because we are booked up.
JANUARY 5th - Thank God for Cod! Miss Montauk landed on the Cod again with a great day of fishing! Low hook had 6 keeper Cod and High Hook had over 20! We also had some Pollock - up to 23 lbs. Cod pool was a 3 way tie at 15 lbs. Sea Bass and Ling added to the full coolers too! Great time to come out Fishing!
DECEMBER 15th - The Miss Montauk is now Cod Fishing. Miss Montauk’s first cod trip was very good with average of 6-8 a man with high hook having 15. Most fish were caught on second drop with great action as fish were flying over rail (felt real good to have to come down and help mates gaff some cod). The rest of day had a good pick of 1 -3 a drift. We had fish on every area we made a drop on. Great time to come out!
NOVEMBER 9th - The Miss Montauk family & crew are all safe and have weathered through the storm okay. We hope you and your families are all well. We are fishing full day for Black Fish & Striped Bass 7am - 4pm. Sea Bass is closed so we will be mixing Stripers in. Bring tackle for both Black Fish & Stripers. Please call us so we know that we have enough to go, nobody needs to be wasting fuel at this time.
OCTOBER 5th - Black Fish, Sea Bass & Porgy fishing.
SEPTEMBER 12th - On board the Miss Montauk today: It was great to be back out on the ocean again! After sea conditions kept us at the dock for a few days - it was great to see the Fluke are still around! Anglers had a very good day of fishing. Nice Fluke on board - Venessa caught the pool, weighing up at 8.1 lbs. A very good amount of nice Sea Bass on board too. High hook had 5 keepers (only retaining limit). Some anglers had their Fluke limits - everyone went home with fish.
